2月21日，“所欲也 | 林泓君 & 玛丽安作品展” 在杭州禹廷艺术馆开幕，本次展览展出了中美两位艺术家林泓君、玛丽安·微尔森的作品。

林泓君本次展览出的【林林】系列作品中，从妈妈她们这一代人的角度来观看千禧年产生翻天覆地的变化，把妈妈触景生情的记忆作为素材、契机和动力在作品中进行情感和想象体验转化。而鱼系列作品是艺术家在画中执着那种天地之不可分别、浑然天成、生机无限的瞬间，在二十年的老红星上酣畅淋漓的玩着，那种人与物同一，人物化，物人化，那种物我同构、与道合一境界。“鱼相忘于江湖，人相忘于道术”。

玛丽安·微尔森的作品是对生活不同时段的记录，例如西湖景观和京都景观系列是对过去的沉思，反映了艺术家在户外写生的实践，用最简单的材料直接观察自然。大幅绘画作品是本着发现的精神完成的。这些绘画并不是以外部世界作为作品的出发点，而是更多的是关于绘画本身的行为。艺术家的兴趣是探索浇筑薄漆的过程，并在分层中工作，以获得特定的美学结果。

On February 21st, "Contemplation and Return , Exhibition of Marianne & Vivian " opened in Hangzhou YuTing Gallery, This exhibition displays the works of two Chinese and American artists, Vivian Lin, and Marianne Wilson.

In Lin Lin's series of works presented in this exhibition, Vivian views the earth-shaking changes of the millennium from the perspective of her mother's generation, and uses her mother's vivid memory as the material, opportunity and power to transform her emotional and imaginative experience in her works. The fish series of works is the artist's insistence on the inseparability of heaven and earth, the perfect nature and the infinite vitality of the moment in the paintings. He plays delightedly on the old red star of 20 years, the kind of person and object are identical, the person is materialized, the object is humanized, the object is isomorphism, and the realm of unity with the Tao. As a Chinese saying goes, "Fish facies is forgotten in rivers and lakes, and human facies is forgotten in Taoism."

Marianne Willson's works are records of different periods of life, such as the West Lake Landscapes and the Kyoto Landscapes series, which are meditations on the past and reflect the artist's practice of sketching outdoors, observing nature directly with the simplest materials. The large paintings on canvas are done in the spirit of discovery. Rather than using the outer world as a point of departure for the work, these paintings are more about the act of painting itself. Artist interest is in exploring the processes of pouring thin paint and working in layers to achieve a particular aesthetic result.
